Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, reporters, and media outlets.
  • Write and distribute press releases to announce company news, events, and developments.
  • Arrange and coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media appearances for key company personnel.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile media reports for internal use.
  • Create engaging and persuasive content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media updates.
  • Engage with the online community, respond to comments, and manage online reputation.
  • Develop crisis communication plans and strategies to manage and mitigate negative publicity or emergencies.
  • Monitor online and offline sources for mentions of the organization.
  • Manage online reviews and address customer feedback.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Strong writing skills to create compelling content, including press releases, articles, and social media posts.
  • Effective verbal communication is essential for interactions with media, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with how the media works, including knowledge of journalists, media outlets, and the news cycle.
  • The ability to pitch stories and build positive relationships with journalists and media professionals.
  • Competence in using various social media platforms for PR purposes.
  • Understanding of crisis communication principles and the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.
  • The ability to come up with creative and innovative ideas for PR campaigns and content.
  • Understanding of budgeting and financial management to allocate resources effectively.
  • The ability to work from 15:00 to 23:00 from our office.
